Micheline is one of the owners of Leg Up Recovery in Alpharetta, Georgia. Prior to opening her own business, she worked as a sterile compounding Pharmacist and has extensive experience in both sterile, and non-sterile prescription / non-prescription product creations. She has created a custom skincare line for her own business based on this previous knowledge which is used during beauty procedures and sold to consumers. As a college athlete she experienced a debilitating shoulder injury which ultimately led to her goals of the creation of an athletic focused wellness center to keep athletes in the game longer. In addition to athletics, clear skin was always a personal challenge which is why Leg Up Recovery focuses on personal beauty and overall wellness. As a pharmacist, she witnessed first-hand the Opioid Epidemic along with the vast overprescribing as a whole that was taking place throughout the medical field. Pharmacists are trained as one of the most flexible, available, and strategic healthcare providers because they are able to work to fix prescribing errors, lower pill burden, lower cost, and increase quality of life in patients. This led to Leg Up Recovery’s “Medicine Beyond Pills” pending trademark.
