After his education as electronics technician, Enrico Klauer, started developing cold air therapy devices for therapeutic purposes and was granted a patent for this innovation.
During his period as CTO and COO at Crio Medizintechnik (1994-2000) he started developing the first pure electrically operated cryo chamber that was able to cool down to -125°C. The medical background of his work took place in collaboration with medical researchers.
In 2000 he incorporated MECOTEC and since then has sold and installed over 700 cryo chambers world wide thereby introducing cryochambers to many different markets including the US in 2010. During the last few years MECOTEC has been building up an international sales and service network with offices in France, Italy, Singapore and the United States.
Enrico Klauer is constantly driven to refine his innovations in the field of cryo technology.
